Conlog fully supports and actively encourages economic empowerment. In addition to the 40% shareholding of Parmtro Investments, the company holds a Level 4 BBBEE rating.
Amongst our complete management team (which comprises 37 people, made up of divisional directors and middle management) some 44% are previously disadvantaged individuals (PDIs). Further, amongst our skilled personnel, some 78% are Black and more than 30% are female.
Conlog also maintains an affirmative supplier programme, which aims to increase purchases from previously disadvantaged individuals. In 2009 we achieved over 32% spend in this sector, with plans to increase this further, year on year.
